Mrs. Shirley J. Brooks Wall, 41, of Winston-Salem died Saturday at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Haizlip Funeral Home in High Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Shirley Jean Brooks Wall, 41, of 4125 Whitfield Drive, died May 11, 2002, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Haizlip Funeral Chapel, High Point. Mrs. Wall was born in Winston Salem, a daughter of the late Donald Brooks Sr. and Emma Haizlip Brooks. She graduated from East Forsyth High School and received her spiritual guidance at Bibleway Holiness Church, Kernersville. Surviving relatives include a daughter, Mrs. Xaiver White of Winston Salem; three grandchildren, Dante Brooks, Tyrea White and Armanhi White, all of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Donald Brooks Jr. of Knightdale and Nathan Brooks of Winston Salem; and two sisters, Mrs. Juanita Bates of Sedalia and Mrs. Janet B. Whitley of Kernersville. There are other relatives and friends, among them Ms. Cindy Linville, who was very special. Burial for Mrs. Wall will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Kernersville. Haizlip Funeral Home, High Point, is in charge of arrangements.
