His dad says, "Dan knew more about repairing cars than anyone I know." Dan attended First Assembly Church of Winston-Salem. He is our cherished son, and we will miss him very much. Besides his loving parents, he is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Heather Joy Dyson and Melissa Dyson Rothrock and husband, Andy Rothrock, and their mother, Rene Dyson; two beautiful granddaughters, "Katie" Marie Rothrock and Emily Leanne Rothrock, all of Winston-Salem; his special brother, David D. Dyson of Kernersville; three uncles; two dear aunts; many wonderful cousins; and two special friends who were like brothers to him, Jimmy Walker and Mark Hill. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Kerwin Baptist Church in Kernersville, with the Rev. Joe Myers and the Rev. Tom Wagoner officiating.
